Times Newspaper launches online Bollywood magazine

London, Feb 22 (UNI) The Times newspaper today launched Bollywood Times Online, a website which promises a smooth blend of serious reporting, reviews and reflections complete with juicy tid-bits and latest gossip on the Bollywood film industry.

The cover story of the online film magazine praises Amitabh Bachchan as '' India's most famous film star and an international icon.'' It has also published extracts from Jessica Hines's new book 'Bollywood' in which she details ''her story of a most unlikely friendship''.

The extract also features in the Times 2 supplement with the message: ''Amitabh Bachchan is India's most famous film star and an international icon. Watch our exclusive video interview.'' The contents of the online magazine include: Film Reviews: 'Salaam-e-Ishq: Bollywood homage to Love Actually is just as jejune and manipulative as original'.

Lee stresses on building ties with China, India

Set up Tamil Nadu Export Promotion Board: TEA

Tirupur, Mar 13 (UNI) The Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) has suggested for setting up 'Tamil Nadu State Export Promotion Board' for a focused approach for export development. TEA, in a press relase here said Association president A Sakthivel participated in the first meeting of the special task force convened under the chairmanship of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at Chennai yesterday. Russia fails to understand US missile plans in Europe

Moscow, Feb 25 (UNI) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today said that US plans to create a missile shield in Eastern Europe are not understandable to Moscow. "The US statement on its intention to deploy a missile shield in Eastern Europe is an example when a position, which has been expressed to us, as it seems, honestly and sincerely, turns out to be not quite understandable to us after a specific study," he said during an interview on Russian television.....
