Replies to MLAs' letter necessary: Vijaywargiya

Bhopal, Feb 22 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government today told the assembly that replies from various departments to letters of MLAs will be ensured.

During the question hour, Mr Manoharlal Rathor said he had written a letter to departments concerned besides Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding disbursing flood-relief amount but no reply was furnished.

In the absence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra, Power Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya said directions had already been issued to all departments to provide replies to letters from MLAs.

He said it would be examined why Mr Rathor did not receive reply to his letter.

RPF constable suspended

Varanasi, Feb 22 (UNI) A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable was suspended for assaulting a Diesel Locomotive Workshop (DLW) employee here today. Official sources said RPF constable Sajid Siddiqi assaulted DLW employee Dhanpat near the Loco Shed over a petty dispute.
