Patil meets Kalam amid speculation of Central rule in UP

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil today met President A P J Abdul Kalam, amid speculation about the possibility of imposition of President's rule in Uttar Pradesh.

The meeting was still on, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman told UNI.

Significantly, the Union Cabinet met this morning to discuss various issues, including the UP situation.

New Delhi, Oct 14: Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi who suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday, Oct 13 continues to be on life support in AIIMS for the second day.
