Next hearing in Priyanka Chopra's case on March 1

Indore, Feb 22 (UNI) A local court today fixed the next date for hearing of with a case filed against Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and her father Ashok Chopra by her former secretary Prakash Jaju on March 1 and directed the duo to be present before the court.

Jaju had alleged that underworld don Chhota Shakeel had made threatening calls on Priyanka's behalf following a dispute related to payment of commission.

Priyanka's counsel Chandrashekar Raikawar urged the court to provide a month's time to his clients to appear before the court.

However, Jaju's side objected to this demand.

The case was recently transferred from Mhow to here on the request of Priyanka and her father.

In her plea, Priyanka voiced a threat to her life if she and her father travelled by road to appear before the court in Mhow.

Meanwhile, Priyanka had filed a case against Jaju in Mumbai.

PWD engineer found murdered

Varanasi, Feb 22 (UNI) A junior engineer of Public Works Department (PWD) was found murdered in the Cholapur area here early today. Police said here the body of Kaushalanand Pandey, a PWD junior engineer was recovered from the Pisaur Pulia under Cholapur police station. The body bore deep wounds, which suggested the engineer was murdered, police added.
