Next hearing in Priyanka Chopra's case on March 1

Indore, Feb 22 (UNI) A local court today fixed the next date for hearing of with a case filed against Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and her father Ashok Chopra by her former secretary Prakash Jaju on March 1 and directed the duo to be present before the court.

Jaju had alleged that underworld don Chhota Shakeel had made threatening calls on Priyanka's behalf following a dispute related to payment of commission.

Priyanka's counsel Chandrashekar Raikawar urged the court to provide a month's time to his clients to appear before the court.

However, Jaju's side objected to this demand.

The case was recently transferred from Mhow to here on the request of Priyanka and her father.

In her plea, Priyanka voiced a threat to her life if she and her father travelled by road to appear before the court in Mhow.

Meanwhile, Priyanka had filed a case against Jaju in Mumbai.

Depositors of Margadarshi stage dharna against Govt's action

Tirupati, Feb 26 (UNI) Hundreds of depositers staged a dharna in front of the Revenue Divisional Office (RDO) here today protesting against the Andhra Pradesh government's alleged steps to destabilise Margadarsi Financers. Holding placards and raising slogans against the government demanding stoppage of search operations on Margadarsi Financiers, they took out a procession from the Tilak Road office of Margadarsi to the RDO's office and submitted a memorandum to RDO Babaiah. Later, talking to reporters, they said 'we have absolute faith.....
