Huge explosives recovered in Asom

Guwahati, Feb 22 (UNI) About 1000 rounds of explosive devices, including 600 IEDs, were recovered and one was arrested today from Garchuck here.

Police said besides IEDs, another 400 rounds of smaller intensity explosives with Indian Ordnance Factory insignia were found from a person from Bihar.

He was picked up by police.

The person, basically a carrier, said explosives were meant for quarries of Guwahati and all of these were transported without any valid documents and stolen from the Indian Ordinance Factory.

The incident had shocked police as the explosives could have caused catastrophe in the state if the insurgents could lay hands on these.

RBI issues notices regarding complaints of counterfeit notes

Wal-Mart still in talks with Bharti

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Sahara India Pariwar today forayed into the global services market with the launch of a new entity Sahara Care House, to capitalise on the increased demand of Indians residing overseas.
