Ganesh Housing inks MoU with Gujarat govt for Rs 2,000cr project

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd today inked an agreement with Gujarat government to develop an integrated township project in the state at an investment of Rs 2,000 crore.

The township project 'Smart City' in Ahmedabad will have high-end villas, apartment facing golf course, hospitals, business towers, hotel, international school, helipad, country club and shopping malls and multiplex theatres.

During the 'Gujarat Urban Summit 2007,' the state had invited investment from the real estate developers to develop townships, participate in the construction and management of utilities and facilitate implementation of such projects.

The MoU was signed by Mr Dipak G Patel, Vice Chairman and Whole-Time Director of the company with Mr K Srinivas, Managing Director of GUDC in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Wockhardt Q4 net up 20pc at Rs 87cr

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Pharmaceutical and biotechnology major Wockhardt Ltd today reported a 20 per cent growth in its net profit at the company's Rs 87 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006. Operating profit climbed 44 per cent to Rs 122 crore. While, consolidated sales at Rs 526 crore showed a 44 per cent growth over the corresponding quarter of 2005. Biocon launches a basket of renal therapy products

Bangalore, Mar 8 (UNI) Indian biotech major Biocon today announced its foray into the nephrology segment, launching five renal therapy products and aiming to emerge leader in the segment in five years. Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw told newspersons at the launch by Infosys Foundation Chairperson Sudha Murthy that the company would have at least 25 per cent market share in Nephrology medicine in five years. Currently, the market size was Rs 300 crore and was registering a 20 per cent annual.....

Air Sahara strengthens presence in Hyderabad, Pune and Nagpur

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Air Sahara today started new flights from the cities of Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur and Mumbai that will strengthen its presence in western and southern India. It launched new flights between Hyderabad and Pune, Nagpur and Pune, and Mumbai and Srinagar via Delhi. Air Sahara will also fly daily to Delhi and Hyderabad from Nagpur.
