Bangalore, Feb 22: Infosys Technologies Limited willl sponsor the Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference to be held in Mumbai from February 26.
The two day conference, organised by The Open Group, would address key issues and challenges faced by enterprises, IT architects and executives overseeing enterprise and IT architecture Infosys said in a release here today.
The conference would have participation from several senior executives at Infosys, whichs created an architectural ecosystem where business and technical consultants, application architects and delivery teams collaborate to produce solutions reliably and integrate them with the client's architectural functions.
Commenting on the relevance of Enterprise Architecture, Mr.Muralikrishna K., Vice President and Head - System Integration Practice at Infosys said, ''Infosys believes that Enterprise Architecture plays a critical role in enabling flexibility and adaptability in organisations''. To succeed in the Flat World, it was becoming increasingly important to understand and leverage business and technology architectures for better productivity he added.
The conference would cover a range of topics such as Enterprise Architecture and the Role of the IT Architect in the global environment, IT Architect Certification, Role of Academia in Enterprise Architecture, SOA, Legacy modernization and Enterprise Architecture management, along with case studies.
