D-Link launches new internet convergence products

Panaji, Feb 22 (UNI) Goa-based Internet hardware products major D-Link today launched five new broadband-based ''convergence products'' here.

The new products included PBX equipment with conferencing server, analog trunk gateway, power over ethernet, mid-span and load balancing routers.

Briefing reporters after the launch, D-Link chairman-cum-managing director K R Naik said the company, over the last 13 years, has grown 1000 times to Rs 200 crore company after an initial investment of Rs 20 lakhs.

People, who laughed at the venture initially, were now hailing the company even as foreigners have started flocking to the company and its products are exported to many developed countries, he added.

At the launch, its full inventory of innovative Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and broadband product solutions, targeting mass market consumers and small business owners, were also displayed.

Dabur Foods relaunches 'Real' by increasing its price

Kolkata to host 12th leather goods fair

Kolkata, Feb 22 (UNI) In order to encourage the production of leather goods, the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (IPTO) is hosting the 12th International Leather Goods Fair (ILGF) here from February 23. E-sys Tech to set up two PC plants, invest Rs 250cr in HP

Kolkata, Feb 22 (UNI) ESys Information Technologies Ltd, a subisdiary of Teledata Informatics Ltd, will set up two PC manufacturing plants at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh and Chennai in Tamil Nadu to produce low-cost PCs for Indian market. Addressing a press conference here today, ESys Chief Operating Officer Neeraj Chauhan said, ''The two proposed plants will together manufacture around 17 lakh Personal Computers(PC).
