Agumbe records lowest temperature 7.7 degree celsius

Bangalore, Feb 22 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State. Minimum temperatures appreciably fell at many places being markedly so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka; appreciably fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and fell at a few places over Coastal Karnataka. They were below normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka; appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Agumbe recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 7.7 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Clear sky. Minimum temperature would be around 15 degree celsius.

Kumaraswamy refutes allegations about keeping the Governor in dark

Security intensified in K'taka railway stations

Bangalore, Feb 20 (UNI) Security has been tightened in Bangalore City and other important railway stations in the Bangalore Division of South Western Railways following the bomb blasts in Samjautha Express, killing 68 passengers and injuring many others. The Railway Protection Force, which had been summoned to the State anticipating trouble in the wake of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal pronouncing its final award, was pressed into service.
