M P Assembly sittings rescheduled

Bhopal, Feb 21 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly will not have its sitting for four days from February 27.

This was disclosed by Speaker Ishwardas Rohani today while conveying the house about the recommendations of the business advisory committee.

The committee also discussed about changing the sitting schedule from 0900 hours to 1400 on Fridays, he said.

The change was being considered to enable the members for their weekend visits to their constituencies.

The Asembly's budget session commenced on February 19 with Governor Balram Jakhar's address to the house and it was scheduled to conclude on April 5. The budget for 2007-08 is likely to be presented on February 26.

One Jharkhand labourer dead, five injured in dynamite blast

Shimla, Feb 21 (UNI) One migrant labourer was killed and four others injured in a dynamite blast at a road construction site in Bajirbawri near Nirmand in Kullu District today. Police sources said that 21-year-old labourer Arun, hailing from Jharkhand was killed in the blast at the road site. The four injured had been admitted in Khanri Civil Hospital at Rampur, they said. Militants kill one, attack the house of another in J

Srinagar, Feb 21 (UNI) Militants killed one person and also attacked the house of another person with a hand grenade in the Jammu and Kashmir today, official sources said. They said militants abducted one person and later shot him dead at Pulwama in south Kashmir this morning. They said militants also hurled a hand grenade towards the house of one Inayat Ullah, a private school owner, at Sopore at 1600 hours this afternoon. Seven bodies despatched for Pakistan

Panipat, Feb 21 (UNI) Seven bodies of Pakistani nationals, who died in the Samjhauta Express blasts on Sunday night, were sent to Attari to be taken to their homeland across the border. Documentation for the first batch of bodies was done at a special counter of the Pakistan High Commission set up here. The bodies, accompanied by relatives, were taken in two pick-up vans, officials said here. Six of them belonged to one family of Karachi--Sayeed Iftikhar Ali (54), Razia.....
