Eureka Forbes launches SPAkle steam cleaning equipment

Bangalore, Feb 21 (UNI) Eureka Forbes, pioneers in water and air purification systems and vacuum cleaners, today introduced in the Indian market the state-of-the-art Steam Cleaning Technology equipment 'SPAkle'.

Announcing the launch of SPAkle, manufactured by Lux International AG Switzerland, Eureka Forbes General Manager S Muralidharan said Steam Cleaning was the internationally acclaimed and most prevalent way of cleaning, which ensured one's home was clean, hygienic and spa fresh. Steam Cleaning removed stains and dust in all the surfaces at home, including kitchen, wardrobes and floor using little water that would be transformed into steam, the most natural and effective cleansing agent that melts fat and dirt away. It was most effective on floor, carpet, window and almost all surfaces in the living room, he added.

Mr Shanshak, Deputy General Manager, Marketing and Category Head of Cleaning, Eureka Forbes, said the new technology would bring value for money, and healthy and hygienic lifestyle. Over 25,000 units were expected to be sold in 2007 through Eureka Forbes marketing network.

75 militancy-affected families get compensation in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 20 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned ex-gratia relief to 75 militancy-affected families of south Kashmir Pulwama district, an official spokesman said today. He said the District-Level Screening Committee took up cases of the militancy-related deaths and property damages. The Committee sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs 57.27 lakh to the families. Of this, Rs 26.75 lakh were sanctioned in favour of 27 death cases, Rs 22.34 lakh in favour of 28 property damage cases and Rs.....
