Committee on literacy mission

Patna, Feb 21 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced constitution of a high level committee to monitor the progress of National Literacy Mission (NLM) activities to the ongoing campaign for achieving universal literacy.

Chairing a meeting of state literacy mission authority here, Mr Kumar said the committee would chalk out a detailed work programme with a view to make all the people between 15-35 year age, literate within a stipulated time frame.

Human resources development minister of the state would head the proposed committee, which would finalise a project report by April next, he declared.

Bengal govt to set up Drug Corporation

Centre to implement bio-tech programme in NE
