CM visits Safdarjang to meet Samjhauta blast victims

New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today visited the burns ward of Safdarjung Hospital where those injured in the Samjhauta Express Train blast are undergoing treatment.

Ms Dikshit, who was accompanied by Delhi Health Minister Yoganand Shastri, enquired about the health of the 11 injured admitted to Safdarjung Hospital and wished them a speedy recovery.

She also gave instructions to the Medical Staff to provide best possible treatment to the victims.

Ms Dikshit assured that her government would provide all possible assistance to the victims. She further said that such incidents need to be condemned by one and all.

Five killed, nine injured as Pvt bus falls in Chamera Dam

Chamba, Feb 21 (UNI) Five persons were killed and nine others injured when a private bus fell in Chamera Dam today. The rescuers saved nine persons, who were injured. They have been sent to a local health care centre Barangal. The ill-fated private bus was on its way from Chamba to Barangal carrying about 14 passangers.
