A two-day seminar on 'Sahakar Setu-2007 by GUCBF

Rajkot, Feb 21 (UNI) A two-day seminar 'Sahakar Setu-2007' (Cooperative bridge-2007), organised by the Gujarat Urban Co-operative Banks Federation (GUCBF), will be held at Ahmedabad from February 24.

Nearly 300 experts of Information Technology would provide information on upgradation of technology during the summit.

The GUCBF would chalk out plans to link up around 300 co-operative banks in Gujarat, a press release of GUCBF said.

Nearly 100 exhibition stalls relating to useful information on banking system would be installed at the venue at Prexabharti, Koba, Ahmedabad, the release said.

Board members of all the banks and top officials who are expected to be present during the seminar, would discuss the need for a centralised data centre for linking up all the banks, release said.

In addition, representatives from Rajasthan and Maharashtra will also participate, release added.

Lupin sells intellectual property on Perindopril to Servier

Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI) DHL Express, the world's leading express and logistics company, has decided to make Mumbai its hub for handling business in 7 South Asian countries, including India. ICICI Bank introduces Money to Home

Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI) ICICI Bank has announced its global remittance service ''Money To Home'' which will enable transfers of money using multiple channels and locations. This service will be currently available to customers in the UK and Canada through ICICI bank subsidiaries in these two countries. Customers will be able to remit money to various international destinations such as China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Nepal.
