WBSEB Sub-Station gets International Quality Assurance certificate

Kolkata, Feb 20 (UNI) The Jeerat 400 KV Sub-station of the West Bengal State ELectricity Board today became the first sub-station in Eastern India when it was awarded with the coveted ISO 9001-2000 certificate by the Kevilated Veritus Quality Assurance (KVQA) of Norway.

WBSEB Chairman M K De received the certificate from the KVQA country representative who elaborated the reasons behind selecting the Jeerat Sub-station from among several other contenders because of its round-the-year high quality performance to the full satisfaction of consumers.

Hazaribagh/Chatra, Feb 20 (UNI) In a major breakthrough police today nabbed self-styled sub-zonal commander of proscribed CPI(Maoist), carrying a cash reward of Rs one lakh, along with his seven other accomplices from Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district.
