Temp fluctuations continue in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Feb 20 (UNI) Temperature fluctuations continued in Rajasthan with the constant circulation of north-easterly winds and a partly cloudy sky.

Pilani in Jhunjhunu district recorded 7.5 degrees Celsius and was the coldest place in the state today.

The state capital witnessed a fall of two degrees Celsius from yesterday and mapped 10 degrees Celsius today. With the sun shining bright and a nip in the air, the day turned pleasant for the people of Jaipur. State's only hill station Mount Abu recorded 8 degree Celsius.

According to meteorological department, Ganganagar recorded 9.6 degree Celsius, Churu 10.7 degrees, Dholpur 11.2 degrees, Jaisalmer 12.2 degrees Celsius, Bikaner 12.6 degrees, Udaipur 13 degrees, Jhalawar 14 degrees Celsius, Barmer 14.4 degrees Celsius, Ajmer 14.5 degrees Celsius, Sawai Madhopur 15 degrees, Bundi and Jodhpur 15.6 degrees, Kota 15.8 degrees Celsius and Rawatbhata 20.1 degrees Celsius.

Haryana police team leaves for Delhi to probe train blasts

Chandigarh, Feb 20 (UNI) A special team of the Haryana police has left for Delhi to join the investigations into the conspiracy behind the twin blasts in the Samjhauta Express yesterday. 13 Burmese nationals nabbed near IB in Hiranagar

Jammu, Feb 20 (UNI) Border Security Forces (BSF) today apprehended six Bangladeshi nationals while they were trying to cross the border to enter into Pakistan at Pargwal, 40 kms away, from Akhnoor tehsil in Jammu district, official sources said. BSF spokesperson told UNI that BSF jawans obsereved a group of Bangaladeshi nationals heading towards the IB in order to exfiltrate to other side of border from Porgwal.
