TDP to field candidates for MLC polls

Hyderabad, Feb 20 (UNI) The Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has decided to field its candidates for the ensuing Legislative Council (MLC) poll from the local body constituencies.

The TDP politbureau, in its meeting chaired by its President N Chandrababu Naidu, has selected candidates to contest the elections They are Mr Dadi Veerabhadra Rao (Visakhapatanam District), Mr Nimmakayala Chin Rajappa (East Godavari District), Mr M Lakshmi Narayana ( West Godavari District), Yalamanchi Rajendra Prasad ( Krishna District), Mr Rajanarayana Yadav ( Guntur District), Mr B N Rajasimhulu (Dorababu) (Chittoor District), Mr Palle Raghunadha Reddy ( Anantapur District), Mr Arigala Nageswara Rao (Adilabad District), Mr C H Sudhakar Rao ( Karimnagar District) and Mr C H Suresh Reddy (Warangal District).

Northeast Frontier Railway to launch Anti-Collision Device on Mar 9

Guwahati, Mar 7 (UNI) The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is all set to launch the final commissioning trial of Anti-Collision Device(ACD) on March 9 as part of a pilot project of the Indian Railways. A successful final commissioning run will lead to introduction of the device in the entire system of the NFR on a later date.
