P C Chandra Jewellers steps outside Bengal

Kolkata, Feb 20 (UNI) P C Chandra Jewellers, a leading West Bengal based company, is on an expansion spree with plans to open four showrooms across the country.

Speaking at a press conference here today, P C Chandra Jewellers Deputy Managing Director Prashanto Chandra said, ''Currently we have showrooms in the state only but now we are planning to go outside Bengal.'' '' We sell diamonds and gold jewelleries in Delhi and Mumbai through various malls. Though we don't have our own showrooms the products are sold through strategic partnership,'' he said.

The company has 12 showrooms currently, of which five are in Kolkata only and rest in other parts of state.

The company today unveiled a new range of De'Lite collection of diamond jewelleries starting from Rs 4,000.

Calsoft posts revenue of Rs 125.24 crore

Chennai, Feb 20 (UNI) California Software Company Limited (Calsoft) has posted a consolidated revenue of Rs 125.24 crore (YoY), an increase of 57 per cent, for the nine months ended December 31, 2006. The company's Board of Directors had approved the unaudited financial results for the Q3 and nine months ended December 31, a company release said. Sony announces 50.1 per cent equity investment

Chennai, Feb 20 (UNI) The US-based Sony Pictures Imageworks (SPI) today announced 50.1 per cent equity investment in a renowned visual effects and animation studio FrameFlow, which has its production operation in the city. As part of the deal, FrameFlow was re-christened "Imageworks India" and it would work seamlessly with SPI's main production facility in Culver city, California. The newly-named entity expects to quadruple its workload in the coming years and deepen its capabilities through investments in infrastructure, technology.....
