Nath hails Centre's decision

Chhindwara, MP, Feb 20 (UNI) Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath today felt that the removal of export restrictions on gram (chana) would lead to farmers, particularly the high-quality 'dollar chana' producers in Madhya Pradesh's Malwa region, getting a fair price for their crop.

''There was an apprehansion that the price of dollar chana would decline due to lack of export,'' Mr Nath told mediapersons after arriving on a three-day visit here.

AIE inducts sixth boeing

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) Air India Express has inducted its sixth owned Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which will operate only economy class seats on the Gulf and Singapore routes. This acquisition increases the AI Express' fleet size to 13 aircraft, seven of which are on lease. Load restriction likely in K'taka

Bangalore, Mar 16 (UNI) The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL) today warned that load restriction would be resorted to following temporary shutdown of power generation at Supa and Talcher units. MADC signs MoU with HCL

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoV) with Information Technology major HCL for a project in Multimodel International hub airport at Nagpur (MIHAN) special economic zone SeZ. Speaking on the occasion, Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said the MoU will increase the investment in Vidarbha region.
