Irfan Pathan bats for Tata Indicom

Ahmedabad, Feb 20 (UNI) India pace bowler Irfan Pathan batted in style for Tata Indicom today.

On a visit to Tata Indicom's True Value Hub here, Irfan waxed eloquent about the company saying Tata Indicom as a brand is synonymous with his profession as a cricketer -- both mean constant focus, satisfaction to the people, and victory for the nation.

The True Value Hub here provides a one-stop shop for any communication requirements, Irfan vouched on behalf of the company.

Tata Teleservices Gujarat Circle Operating Officer Suneel Bandhu, speaking on the occasion, said Tata Indicom has been continuously expanding its retail presence across the state.

''The retail penetration has been the highest yet and we have attained a remarkable milestone by entering The Limca Book of Records 2007 edition for being the first telecom operator in India to inaugurate 103 True Value Shoppes (TVS) across the nation on a single day,'' Mr Bandhu said.

Tata Indicom proposes to increase the number of retail outlets across the country from 2,700 to 3,500 by next month and invested around Rs 100 crore for the purpose, Mr Bandhu said.

The True Value Hub in Ahmedabad is a state-of-the-art and the biggest Tata Indicom TVH in the country which also offers internet, broadband connections, and 24-hour automated payment machines which accept cash and cheque payments for added convenience.

Calsoft posts revenue of Rs 125.24 crore

Chennai, Feb 20 (UNI) California Software Company Limited (Calsoft) has posted a consolidated revenue of Rs 125.24 crore (YoY), an increase of 57 per cent, for the nine months ended December 31, 2006. The company's Board of Directors had approved the unaudited financial results for the Q3 and nine months ended December 31, a company release said.
