Indo-Pak peace forum condemns Samjhauta attack

New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) Pakistan-India People's Forum for Peace and Democracy (PIPFPD) today denounced yesterday's terrorist attack on the Samjhauta Express.

In a release, Forum Secretary Tapan Bose said no purpose would be served by these kinds of terror acts.

The forum stressed the need to see through the nefarious designs of the blasts which left behind a bloody trail of the dead and the injured, since the train was a ''harbinger of peace''.

Mr Bose said the attack should not deter the people on both sides from fighting terror and simultaneously urged not to allow themselves to play on fears and attacks, which would mean playing into the hands of terrorists.

PIPFPD hoped that the terrorist attack would not derail the peace process between the two countries.
