IndiGo announces special fares on 100,000 tickets

New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) IndiGo today announced a promotional offer on 100,000 tickets at Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 plus taxes and surcharges.

These tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis from tomorrow for travel starting February 26 on all IndiGo sectors spanning its 13 destinations and 52 daily flights.

Bookings can be made till February 28. Customers can book these tickets by visiting www.goindigo.in; by using http://mobile.goindigo.in with a GPRS-capable mobile phone or PDA, by calling the IndiGo call center at (0) 99-10-38-38-38, by visiting IndiGo airport ticket counters, IndiGo Shops or from participating travel agents.

The airline currently has a fleet of seven A320 aircraft and flies to Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Imphal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Vadodara.

Dacoits strike at farm house

Hubli, Feb 20 (UNI) An armed dacoits gang struck at a farm house near Hulukoti in Gadag district and looted gold ornaments after slashing the ear of an inmate and assaulting 12 people, last night. Police said today that the dacoits, numbering six to seven, cut an ear of a woman when she resisted the robbery bid. She had been admitted to the Gadag district hospital.
