Hutch Youth Float to woo young consumers

Mohali, Feb 20 (UNI) Major cellular service provider Hutch, targetting young customers in Punjab with its latest Youth Pack, today launched a fun-filled promotional campaign here today.

As part of the unique promotional venture, a specially created Hutch Youth float was taken out here to entail the on-ground activities offering a host of games, contests and some gifts.

The Youth Pack can be purchased at Rs 399 with a talk time of Rs 200 and validity of 90 days.

It offers reduced local call rates at 10 p/min from Hutch-to-Hutch, 65 p/min from Hutch-to-GSM mobile, 99 p/min from Hutch-to-others, thereby considerably reducing the monthly mobile expenditure of the youth.

Additionally, it offers unlimited local SMS at the rate of 10p/min and unlimited national SMS at 20p/min.

Speaking on the Youth Pack, Hutch (Punjab) Chief Executive Officer Rajiv Kohli said, ''The launch of the Youth Pack reiterates our commitment towards making mobile communication affordable and accessible to the younger generation.'' He said the launch of the youth pack is yet another addition to the bouquet of services offered by Hutch for the youth including Campus Connect, Cricket downloads and contests, Fun card, Full Song Download, economy tariff packs and services that give music on the move.

Sony announces 50.1 per cent equity investment

Chennai, Feb 20 (UNI) The US-based Sony Pictures Imageworks (SPI) today announced 50.1 per cent equity investment in a renowned visual effects and animation studio FrameFlow, which has its production operation in the city. As part of the deal, FrameFlow was re-christened "Imageworks India" and it would work seamlessly with SPI's main production facility in Culver city, California.
