Chennai, Feb 20 (UNI) Canadian luxury salon Vault has set up a unit in city for North American hair styling with an Indian touch.
'Vault Salon in the city is an Indo-Canadian joint venture, between Dadha Group of Companies and Jorgenson Group, which brings to people the expertise of North American hair styling with an Indian touch', Jorgeson Group Vice President Brandy O Reilly told nediapersons here today.
''In view of the Indian market demands, we will look into expanding to physician services'', she said, adding ''it is all part of creating an entire beauty package for our clients''.
Vault Salon here would position itself as a high quality, premium salon unit like its Canadian counterpart, she added.
''Strategy is to bring Chennai to up-to-date with global trends along with treating the client with a 'hair experience'', she said.
Vault's menu would have cutting and styling for men and women, colour and highlighting, texture and straightening services, bridal hair and special event styling.
''In addition, Vault also offers manicures, pedicures, waxing and threading services'', she added.
According to statistics given by Vault, the beauty salon industry in the country is roughly estimated at Rs 1,800 crore, expected to grow by 42 per cent next year.
