Cauvery: Complete shutdown of K'taka on Feb 12

Bangalore, Feb 10: Karnataka will be completely shutdown on Feb 12 from 6 am to 6pm to support statewide bandh called by Kannada organisations against the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal verdict. No buses will be plying on the road as KSRTC and BMTC have decided to participate.

The Government has declared holiday for all schools and colleges on Feb 12.

The Kannada film industry has also extended support for the bandh.

Led by Union minister of state for information M H Ambareesh, the Film Industry will take out a procession from Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to Raj Bhawan.

But, the Govt has decided to hold legislative session. Essential services will ot be effected.
