Sonia Gandhi to campaign at Manipur on Feb 5

Imphal, Feb 4: Congress President Sonia Gandhi will visit Manipur to campaign for the ninth assembly polls scheduled on February 8, 14 and 23.

Security arrangements have been tightened here in view of the visit, police said.

Party sources said Ms Gandhi would be addressing two public meetings at two different places here.

Both the places have been cordoned off and a team of special protective guards was arranging the details of the visit.

She would return to Delhi tomorrow, the sources said.
