Manipur: Congress, CPI issue candidate list

Imphal, Jan 22: The Congress, CPI and Manipur People's Party have issued a second list of candidates for the Manipur elections.

The Congress formally announced the list late last night, .

Congress candidates K Tomba would contest from Khundrakpam, N Biren from Heingang, N Bihari from Khurai, Md Amin from Kshetrigao, from Thongju among others.

Manipur People's Party (MPP) has also announced names of some more candidates. The candidates, among others include H Manisana Singh from Thanga Assembly, O Jugindro Singh from Wangoi Assembly Constituency, S Tiken Singh from Singjamei, C&S Nabakumar from Konthoujam A/C in Imphal West District.

The CPI has also announced a list of candidates.
