Providential escape for 12 children

Hubli, Jan 15 (UNI) A group of 12 children had a miraculous escape when their boat capsized at Unakal lake here this evening.

Police said the children, aged 12 years, had gone for a jolly ride on the occasion of Makara Sankranti in the boat. When the boat got imbalanced and toppled, the children, wearing life saving jackets, started floating in the lake.

The kids were then rescued by the boatmen. All of them were treated as out patients at KIMS here, police added.
