UKD declares second list for assembly polls in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, Jan 12 (UNI) The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal declared its second list of 16 candidates for the coming assembly elections in Uttarakhand.

The party had released its first list of 22 candidates, including four sitting MLAs, on Sunday.

The second list, released yesterday in Mussoorie, include Lal Singh Khampa (Dharchula), K Jigrana (Purola), Pratap Singh (Lhandaur), Rekha Chaudhary (Kashipur), Nand Kishore Nautiyal (Beerukhal), Lok Pal (Kapkot), Mahaveer Kharola (Tehri), Devendra (Badrinath), SS Negi (Pauri), Shree Krishan Bhatt (Rudraprayag), Prem Ram Arya (Someshwar), Sanjay Arora (Roorkee), HS Sharma (Bahadrabad), Bindu Rajput (Rishikesh), Ramchander Bisht (Pratapnagar) and Ram Lal Arya (Mukteshwar).

Devegowda releases chargesheet against Cong

Bangalore, Sep 18: Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) National President H D Devegowda today declared a war against Congress by releasing a 10 point chargesheet against its leaders. Releasing the charegsheet at a news conference Mr Devegowda dared the Congress leaders to either reply to his 10 questions or apologise to the people of the state for 'attempting to destabilise a popular government and making baseless and mischievous allegations against 'me, my party and my family.'
