Next Science Congress in Waltiar, Andhra Pradesh

Chidambaram (Tamil Nadu), Jan 4: The Indian Science Congress 2008 will be held at Waltiar in Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, under the General Presidentship of Dr R Ramamurthy.

This was decided by the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) Council during the ongoing 94th Indian Science Congress year. However, this is to be ratified by the ISCA general body on January 7.

The ISCA council also nominated Dr T Ramaswamy as the General President of the Indian Science Congress 2009. The Council, however, has not decided the venue for the 96th conclave.

Bhopal, Nov 25: Youngsters should steer clear of junk food, packaged food and soft drinks, a Padmabhushan-recipient biotechnologist opined.
