JSW Steel ups price of galvanised steel

New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) JSW Steel Ltd has announced a hike of Rs 1,500 per metric tonne for its galvanised steel.

''The price hike for galvanised steel has been necessitated by the increase in zinc prices and the impact of other raw material prices,'' the company's Director (Finance) MVS Seshagiri Rao said in a statement today.

The government yesterday asked steel companies to ensure transparency in their pricing decisions, during the first meeting of the newly set up price monitoring committee with the ministry of steel.

Lahore, Feb.7 (ANI): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the dates of the one-day international series between Pakistan and Australia which would be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).The series will be held from April 24 to May 7.The series includes five one-day internationals beside a Twenty20 game.The first two ODI's and the Twenty20 match will be played in Dubai, while Abu Dhabi will be hosting the remaining three one day games of the.....
