Dumka, Jan 4 (UNI) The Dumka district administration today lodged an FIR against a Child Development Project Officer posted in this distrct of Jharkhand.

During an inquiry Ms Anita Kumari, posted in Shikaripara block with an was additional charge of Raneshwar block, was found involved in misappropriation of government fund and 'mishandling' the government papers.

The FIR was registered in the concerned police station on complaint of District Programme Officer.

Pratapgarh, July 9: At least six people have been booked under various sections of the Dalit Attrocities Act in Kunda kotwali here. Police today said a dalit, Kesh Prasad of Raiyapur village yesterday lodged a named FIR against six people for allegedly assaulting, using abusive language and forcefully putting him behind the bars on November 4, 2005 on the directions of an MLA. Sheohar, Dec 5: A group of armed criminals shot dead a Panchayat Sewak at Khairwadarp under town police station area in the district late last night.
