Bharuch, Jan 4: A telephone-call received by the railway authorities in Bharuch today claiming that a bomb had been planted aboard a Mumbai-bound Karnavati Express train, turned out to be a hoax.
When no incriminating material was recovered after a thorough search by the local Government Railway Police (GRP), the train was allowed to proceed to it's destination, railway officials said.
Due to the search operation, the train was delayed by at least half-an-hour and subsequently the schedule of the trains following it was disturbed too, officials lamented.
