Aish-Hrithik liplock case

Indore, Jan 4 (UNI) A local court today recorded evidence in a case alleging obscenity in the Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai kissing scene in the film 'Dhoom 2'.

Advocate Shailendra Dwivedi urged Judicial Magistrate R K Batham to register a case under sections 292 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Mr Dwivedi alleged that the scene outraged the modesty of women.

January 25 was fixed as the next date of hearing.

Cabinet approves accession to Hague Convention

New Delhi, Dec 21: In a decision that would establish a uniform procedure for sending, receiving and executing requests for the taking of evidence to and from the other countries, the Union Cabinet today approved accession to the Hague Convention of March 18, 1970. The Convention relates to the Taking of Evidence Abroad in Civil or Commercial Matters and Designation of Central Authorities under the Convention.
