Air Marshal Tyagi visits ENC

Visakhapatnam, Jan 4 (UNI) Chief of Air Staff and Chairman of Cheifs of Staff Committee, Air Chief Marshal S P Tyagi, arrived here today on a visit to the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) ENC Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Vice-Admiral Arun Kumar Singh received Air Marshal Tyagi at the naval air station, INS Dega.

Later, Air Marshal Tyagi held discussions wiht Vice-Admiral Singh. He also addressed the participants of the Combined Operational Review and Evaluation Programme besides interacting with the ENC officers.

The company has so far transferred 1,600 employees from Aviva-24/7 Customer in Bangalore this month, while the rest will be moved during this calendar year.Aviva has 6,200 employees on the BPO side with its three partners - 24/7 Customer, EXL and WNS. SBI staff call off strike; pension issue settled

New Delhi, Apr 10: The week-long strike over revision of pension by staff and Officer's Federations of the State Bank of India was called off last night following successful day-long talks on the pension issue with the Government."The pension matter is settled. We have decided to call off the strike," All India State Bank of India Staff Federation Vice-President V K Gupta said."Management has informed the Government that they have reached an agreement with the officers and employee unions," Finance Minister P Chidambaram.....
