Child abducted last night in Lucknow

Lucknow, Dec 27: A toddler was abducted by unidentified miscreants in the state capital late last night, police today said.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Krishna said the incident occurred in Hussainabad area under Thakurganj police station area, where a two year old boy Muzammil was kidnapped, when he was playing outside his house.

According to Muzammil's father Tanvir, the kidnappers have demanded Rs 10 lakh ransom.

A case was registered and hunt was on to release the boy from the abductors, Mr Krishna added.
