Three Nepalese labourers buried alive in HP

Chamba, Dec 26 (UNI) Three Nepalese labourers were buried alive and another injured following a landslide in the tribal area of Bharmour in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh yesterday, delayed reports reaching the police today stated.

According to the reports, the labourers employed by a private construction company, were killed when a portion of a hillock they were digging crashed and buried three of them. Their bodies were dug out this afternoon and handed over to their relatives.

The deceased were identified as Jang Bahadur, Pappu and Gobind.

Another labourer, Rajan was injured in the incident and was admitted to a local hospital.

The construction company has ordered an inquiry into the landslide. The police had registered a case against the company and are also investigating the matter.

Iran issue: Pranab prefers parleys to sanctions

Indore, Dec 26 (UNI) Bundling out hosts Madhya Pradesh for 205, Goa secured a first innings lead of 18 runs on the second day of their Ranji Trophy Plate Group A match at the Usha Raje Cricket Ground here today.
