Three car bombs kill at least 10 in Baghdad

Baghdad, Dec 26: Three simultaneous car bombs exploded in a busy intersection in southwestern Baghdad today, killing at least 10 people and wounding scores, officials said.The blasts occurred in the Bayaa district, a predominantly Shi'ite neighbourhood. Back injury rules Kallis out of second India test

DURBAN, South Africa, Dec 26 (Reuters) South Africa's Jacques Kallis has been ruled out of the second test against India in Durban today because of a back injury. A Cricket South Africa statement said the all-rounder felt a ''sharp pain'' in his back when he woke up on Sunday and had not recovered. ''Jacques has difficulty moving and will therefore not be playing in the second test,'' the statement added. All-rounder Andrew Hall has replaced Kallis.....

Assocham warns of capital loss to WB due to bandh culture

Kolkata, Dec 26 (UNI) Leading industry body Assocham has warned that the state could lose Rs 20,000 crore of committed investments if the return of bandh culture and agitation derailed the Tata Motors project in Singur. Pointing out that its assessment was based on feedback from its four member chambers in West Bengal, Assocham representatives today cautioned Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharejee-led government to resolve the Tata Motors impasse as early as possible to avoid.....
