Mecury dips in AP

Hyderabad, Dec 26 (UNI) The minimum temperatures fell at one or two places over Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours even as dry weather prevailed across the state.

The lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree C was recorded at Adilabad, according to the Weather Office here.

Minimum temperatures were above normal at one or two places over Telangana and normal over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema, as predicted by the weather office.

Hyderabad will have partly cloudy sky. Minimum temperature will be around 14 degree Celsius in the state capital.

Bhubaneswar, Dec 26(UNI)Indian Metals&Ferro Alloys Limited(IMFA), India's largest producer of ferro alloys, was honoured with the prestigious 'Niryat Shree' award by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations(FIEO) at a glittering function in New Delhi today. The award recognizes outstanding export performance by erstwhile Indian Charge Chrome Limited(ICCL) which has since merged with IMFA during the year 2004-05. Panchayat election in J'khand after SC's decision: Koda

Ranchi, Dec 26 (UNI) Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda today asserted that panchayat elections would be held in the state as soon as the Supreme Court asks it to. Darbhanga, Dec 26 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Information Technology Shakeel Ahmad today alleged that the state government had failed to check the cable theft cases resulting in deficiency in services provided by BSNL. After inaugurating a school building here, Ahmad said recent spurt in cable theft cases was an attempt of vested interests to defame BSNL.
