Haryana police bust gang of robbers

Gurgaon, Dec 26 (UNI) The Haryana police has recently busted a gang of robbers, which was active in the city and has recovered weapons from their possession.

Stating this here yesterday, a spokesman of the police department said that police had received a tip-off that a gang of three youngsters, equipped with weapons, were looting the people who were on their way to Bhawani Enclave, here.

After receiving this information, the police raided the spot and nabbed the three robbers. They were identified as Amit Kumar alias Kalu, Vinod Kumar and Vikas alaias Nittu, all local residents.A loaded 12 bore pistol was recovered from Amit's possession while an iron rod each was recovered from the possession of the other two.

A case has been registerd against the accused under various sections of the Arms Act and Indian Penal Code .

Cannabis worth Rs 12 crore seized

Mumbai, Dec 24 (UNI) The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police have seized 45 kg of cannabis, worth Rs 12 crore in the international market, from three different places in the Metropolis and arrested six persons in this connection. BJP MLA fined under RTI, to appeal

New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) In a significant ruling, the Supreme Court has ruled that there is no bar to a Muslim creating a simple trust and it is not always necessary to create a Waqf while the settlement of his properties.
