Era Infrastructure launches projects worth Rs 310 cr in Meerut

New Delhi, Dec 26 (UNI) ERA Infrastructure (India) Ltd today launched two new projects, ERA Mall and ERA Gardenia Estate, in Meerut and said it will invest a total of Rs 310 crores in their development.

To be located near the Delhi-Meerut highway, ERA Mall will be completed in one-and-half year at an outlay of 60 crores.

''ERA Mall would make eminent business sense for retailers, as the mall would attract significant footfalls and potential customers to tap prospective customers from residents of Meerut, highway travellers and immediate and surrounding community zones,'' the company said in a statement.

ERA Malls will provide ''big city shopping experience with grand piece atrium of architecture, strategically placed escalators, Bubble lifts.'' ERA's big city family entertainment will constitute of billiards, video games from racing to flying, shooting to soccer, table hockey to bump cars. It will also have three silver screens to showcase new movies.

ERA Garndnia Estate will come up near Meerut City Railway Station at an investment of Rs 250 crores over a period of two to three years.

It will be set amongst the greens and will have 40 per cent of open area.

''ERA Garndnia Estate is planned for the 21st century living homes with lawns in front, one way looped road for traffic management, green building, solar energy system, recycled water for irrigation, rain water harvesting keeping in mind the modern living,'' the statement added.

Tourism in mind, VETA opens English training centre in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 26 (UNI) With an eye on huge tourism potential in Kashmir, VETA which claims to be the Asia's largest spoken English training academy, inaugurated its first such centre here today. Speaking about VETA's foray into Kashmir, company Executive Director K V Rajan said tourism was an ever increasing industry in Jammu and Kashmir which has resulted in a lot of emphasis on English language skills. Four dead in road accidents in Haryana

Karnal, Dec 26 (UNI) Three persons, including an eight-year-old girl died when the motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck near Manglora bridge about 10 km from here, police said today. The deceased Jagir Singh of Siwan village, his son-in-law Sultan Singh and eight-year-old grand-daughter Harmandeep Kaur were going towards their village Takhana last night when the accident took place. The trio died on the spot. The truck driver is yet.....

Clinigene completes safety study on insulin vials

Bangalore, Dec 26 (UNI) Clinigene International Private Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of biopharma major Biocon has concluded a landmark post marketing results of Insugen evaluation (pride) studycovering 6,164 patients and 507 doctors. The Company in a release here said today that the study was the largest documented safety study on insulin vials with 99 per cent of the doctors opined that safety with Insugen was at par with the leading marketed brands of insulin.....
