Bomb found near DC office

Imphal, Dec 26 (UNI) A powerful bomb was found near the office of the Deputy commissioner Imphal West last evening.

Police said the bomb was found by a passersby.

Police is inquiring into the incident to ascertain how the bomb was planted in the high security zone guarded by the CRPF personnel.

The bomb, which was found near the gate of the office, was removed by a police bomb squad.

The bomb was safely defused by experts.
