Precious metals further recover on increase of fresh demand

Mumbai, Dec 25 (UNI) Precious metals further recovered on increase of fresh demand in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association today said.

Mumbai, Dec 25 (UNI) Both the Precious metals further edged up on fresh demand with Silver gaining by Rs 30 per kg and Gold by Rs 25 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange today. Silver fineness opened high at Rs 19,180 per kg on moderate demand. Later, it slightly improved and closed at Rs 19,190 per kg with a gain of Rs 30 per kg from Saturday's close. New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) Inspite of the government's claims to take pre-emptive action to contain rising prices, the annual inflation rate rose to 5.32 per cent for the week ended December 9 from 5.16 per cent the previous week due to an increase in food prices.
