Miscreants loot house of MP's son-in-law

Chennai, Dec 25 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants broke into the house of a real estate businessman, son-in-law of Congress MP Dhanushkodi Adithan, at suburban Madhavaram and decamped with 65 sovereigns of gold ornaments and other valuables last night.

The businessman Rajesh Khanna (38) was away with his family attending midnight mass at a nearby church when the break-in occurred.

When they returned from the church, they noticed the house was open and the steel almirahs were ransacked. They informed the police.

Police registered a case and are investigating.
