BPL Mizo youths sent for hi-tech training

Aizawl Dec 25 (UNI) In a bid to uplift the Below Poverty Level (BPL) youths under the Swarna Jyanti Swa-Rojgar Yujana (SJSRY) Scheme, Mizoram goventment has sent 24 youths to the Department of Electronic Accreditation and Computer Courses centre (DoEACC) for training in the Computer Aided Design for Textile.

K Thanhlira, member Secretary of State-level Upliftment and Development Alleviation (SUDA), said altogether 1470 BPL youth in different fields were sent for training to DOEACC centre for this course.

He said said, ''The course is programmed to be completed within six months but as the students had no knowledge in computer, they will be given basic taining of computers.'' UNI BB BA/src1202

JP Group to carry out Taj Expressway project
