Special package for DTH in NE

Aizawl, Dec 24 (UNI) Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry has announced special package for NE states to start Direct-to-Home (DTH) facilities to the rural people.

Official sources here said that a project of Rs 400.17 crore has been approved by the Ministry to extend the service in the region.

About 10,000 dish receiving units have been provided free of cost in under developed villages of Northeast, officials said adding that public institutions like Anganwadi centres, schools, public health centres, panchayats, youth clubs, cooperative societies were also provided the service.

Dishman Pharma ties up with S Arabia-based Takamul

New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals Ltd has said it has tied up with Saudi Arabia-based Takamul Investments Holding company (Takamul) to manufacture hospital disinfectant formulations, Anti-cancer Drug formulations and Dry Powder inhaler (DPI). Compact Disc to buy London-based Mobsoft

New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) Compact Disc India Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire 70 per cent stake in London-based Mobile Software Ltd (Mobsoft).
