Rao pays tributes to Frontier Gandhi

Hyderabad, Dec 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President K Keshava Rao today paid floral tributes to Frontier Gandhi and Bharat Ratna recipient Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan on his 126 birth anniversary.

In a function here, he also paid floral tributes to the former PCC President Mallikarjuna on his death anniversary.

Mr Rao extended his Christmas greetings to the people in the State.

Puducherry,Dec 24 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to AIADMK founder and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M G Ramachandran on his 19th death anniversary here today. Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy garlanded the MGR statue in front of the new bus stand on behalf of the territorial administration. AIADMK office bearers and volunteers led by the Secretary A Anbazhagan MLA took out a silent procession from party head quarters at Ouppalam and garlanded.....

Puducherry,Dec 24(UNI) Rich tributes were paid to the Tamil Rationaist leader and Dravidar Kazhagam founder, Periyar E V Ramaswami on his 33rd death anniversary here today. Chief Minister N Rangasamy garlanded the statue of Periyar at Pillaithottam here, on behalf of the Government. Hyderabad, Dec 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy and Director General of Police (DGP) Swaranjeet Sen today paid a courtesy call on Union Home Minister Shivaraj Patil at Raj Bhavan. Mr Reddy and Mr Sen met Mr Patil who had come to the city to participate in a private programme this afternoon.
