Compact Disc to buy London-based Mobsoft

New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) Compact Disc India Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire 70 per cent stake in London-based Mobile Software Ltd (Mobsoft).

The company will disclose the financial details of the transaction later in the national capital, a statement issued has said.

Mobsoft has so far produced mobile games for Burger King, Coca Cola, British Police and others.

It has its main office in London and a development centre at St Pittsburg in Russia.

Compact Disc is engaged in developing and creating 2D/3D animation, multimedia and special effects for films, corporate presentations, gaming and mobiles.

Panasonic aims 30% jump in sales next fiscal at Rs 143cr

New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, the 100 per cent subsidiary of Japan-based Panasonic, aims to garner sales of Rs 143 crore in fiscal 2007-2008 from Rs 110 crore during the current fiscal, representing a growth of 30 per cent. ''Last year, the company registered 23 per cent sales growth, and we expect it to grow further by 30 per cent in the next financial year to Rs 143 crore,''.....

Koutons to raise Rs 140 cr, plans to double outlets by mid-07

New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) Apparel maker Koutons Retail India Ltd will raise Rs 140 crore through initial public offering (IPO) in the next year, as it plans to double its presence in year's time.
