Hubli, Nov 12 (UNI) With the arrest of three people and recovery of 4.88 kg of gold, the Karnataka police today claimed to have solved a major case of gold heist from a jeweller's shop in the city last month.
According to police, the arrests were made at Rajkot in Rajasthan.
Addressing a press conference here today, Commissioner of Police Narayan Nadmani said the trio had sold the gold in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Rajkot.
They had also changed their mobile phone sim cards thrice, while disposing of the gold in the three different states.
However, the city police succeeded in tracking the trio.
