6,000 join 'cycle race campaign' to get Olympics 2014 to India

New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) More than 6,000 people participated in today's 'PHDCCI Cycle Race', flagged off by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit as part of the commerce body's campaign to get Olympics 2014 to India.

With a total prize money of Rs 4.4 lakh the race, first of its kind, was divided into six categories -- Men (30 km), Women (30 km), Children (12-15 yrs), Children (8-12 yrs), Senior Citizen (10 km) and Physically Challenged.

While the Men (30 km) prize money of one lakh was won by Sai Krisha, Nidhi Khanna won the same amount in the Women (30 km) category.

In the Children (12-15 yrs) category Amarjeet Singh took the prize money of 15,000, Prabha and Aditya finished the podium in the Children (8-12 yrs) category.

For the Senior Citizen (10 km) category Kuldeep Gupta and Asha Jha won the Rs 10,000 prize and the Rs 50,000 prize in the Physically Challenged category went to Mohammad Mustafa.
